Kenneth Gary Watson

BELEWS CREEK - Kenneth Gary Watson, 66, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at his home. Kenneth was born on August 31, 1947 in Stokes County to Kenneth Clyde and Renee' Avolene Collins Watson. Proudly serving his country, Gary was a veteran of the US Army. He worked for over 20 years at Piedmont Ford Truck. Gary was a Godly man who dearly loved his family. He was a gifted musician with a great sense of humor and was loved by everyone he met.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.

Surviving are his wife of 41 years, Linda Stack Watson; daughter, Chrissy Watson (Tim McBride) and children, T.J. McBride, Alyssa Johnson, Courtney McBride; son, Ben Watson (Mindy Hess) and children, Morgan Watson, Lindsey French and Hunter French; and many other ""adopted"" grandchildren with whom he shared his love; two sisters, Judy Carico and husband, Jack, Bonnie Newsome and husband, Jerry; and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at Kernersville Wesleyan Church with Pastor R.J. McBride officiating. Burial will follow in Victory Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel.
