Mr. Kenneth Leon Wagoner, 82, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 18, 1934 in Yadkin County and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving in the U.S. Army Airborne. Kenneth was of the Baptist faith, retired from American National Can Co and after his retirement he drove a tour bus for Holiday Tours and loved being on the road. He loved the water, boating, his motorcycle and being at Ocean Isle. A true ""Southern Gentleman"", Kenneth was thoughtful, gracious and was always generous to his fellow veterans. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Janice Bumgarner of the home; a daughter, Monique Bartlett (Dan) of Marietta, GA; four brothers, Dewey Misenheimer (Beverly) of Greensboro, Dwight Misenheimer of Germanton, Felix Misenheimer of Yadkinville and Charles Misenheimer(Elizabeth) of Kyle, TX; three sisters, Mina, Carol and Barbara; two grandchildren, Danielle and Morgan Bartlett both of Marietta, GA. A Celebration of Kenneth's Life will be held at 12 noon Saturday, April 15, 2017 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. John Bishop officiating.
