Kenneth Turner, Jr.

Kernersville – Mr. Kenneth Joel Turner, Jr., 63, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his home. He was born on October 20, 1957 in Horry County, SC to Kenneth Joel Turner, Sr. and Juanita Ward Turner. Kenneth enjoyed playing golf as well as fishing at the beach. He was employed with Burchett Sign and his family would like to thank them for all of their support during this time. Kenneth loved his family, and he will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his mother, Kenneth was preceded in death by his stepmother, Betty Turner as well as his daughter, Amber Michelle Turner. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sarah Taffer Turner; son, Chad Turner; daughter, Hannah Turner; his father, Kenneth Turner, Sr.; mother in law, Freda Johnson; father in law, Landon Taffer (Evon); three brothers in law, Ken Taffer (Terri), Mike Taffer (Wendy), and Brian Williams (Vicki); one sister in law, Jess Koch; two nieces, Kaitlin Taffer and Jessica Thompson; and four nephews, Jake Thornberry, Josh Taffer, Caleb Taffer, and Jonathan Williams.

A memorial service for Kenneth will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials be made to Trellis Supportive Care at 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
