Kenneth Edward Price

Mr. Kenneth Edward Price, 76, of Winston-Salem, passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born June 15, 1936 in Rowan County to Oscar A. Price and Mary Brown Price. Mr. Price was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church and retired from Duke Power Company with 39 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Bea Deal Price; three children, Kenneth E. Price, Jr. (June) of San Diego, CA, Stephen A. Price (Linda) of Clemmons and Sandra P. Duncan (Guy) of Winston-Salem; three grandchildren, Nicole King, Michelle Marchand and Amy Price; five great grandchildren; one great great grandchild and a brother, Harold Price and his daughter, Mary Sue of Kannapolis. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Meghan McSwain officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family would like to thank nurses Lanie and Ericka at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and Sarah and Andrea with Senior Services for their compassionate care of Mr. Price. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice & Palliative Care Center or to Senior Services.
