Kenneth Earl Porter, Jr.

Winston-SalemMr. Kenneth Earl Porter, Jr., 51, passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born October 29, 1959 in Forsyth County to Kenneth Earl Porter, Sr, and the late Martha Wightman Porter. Mr. Porter was a loving son, brother, and friend. He enjoyed being outside and studying history. Preceding him in death was his mother. Surviving is his father, Ken Porter and wife Debbie of Huntsville; sister, Rhonda Duhon of Winston-Salem; step-brother, Bobby Hilterbrand of Charlotte and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, May 14, 2011 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Preacher Scott Welch officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
