Kenneth Gray Lunsford

Mr. Kenneth Gray Lunsford, 67, passed away Saturday, September 25, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Yadkin County on May 13, 1943 to the late Rueben Lunsford and Viva Fletcher Lunsford Sease. Mr. Lunsford was a loving husband, brother, very special uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him He was of the Baptist faith and attended Crusaders for Jesus Christ in Pffaftown. Mr. Lunsford was retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Archie Ray Lunsford. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Wanda Diane Hann Lunsford of the home, a sister, Emma Lyons of East Bend, a brother, Calvin Lunsford of Yadkinville, two special aunts, Cassie Salmons and Edna Sizemore and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services for Mr. Lunsford will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 27, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home Chapel in Rural Hall with Pastor Calvin Mauk officiating. Burial will follow in Forbush Friends Meeting Cemetery in East Bend. The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to: Hospice and Palliative Care Center, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
