Walkertown-Kenneth Carl Lung, 62, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born September 24, 1947 in Lucas Co., Ohio to the late Stanley K. and Kathryn Cark Lung. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant son, Michael James Lung. Surviving are his wife, Beverly Flack Lung of the home; his children, Rodney J. Lung, Dustin L. Dewitt and wife Tami, Clarke A. Dewitt, and Kandi J. Warren; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Lung, William Lung and wife Salley; two sisters, Kathryn Cowell and husband Enos, Karen Colombo and husband Fabio; and his very special friend ""Molly"" his black lab. A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends from 9:30-11:00 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Because of his enduring love for the ocean, the family will be honoring him and taking his cremated remains to scatter him at sea, off the shore of Oak Island.
