Kenneth "Ken" Benford Wilson

Kernersville – Kenneth “Ken” Benford Wilson, 89, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 6, 1935, in Guilford County to the late Florence Wilson. Ken was raised by his grandparents, George and Pattie Wilson. He was a known hard and dedicated worker, retiring from Roadway Express after 55 years. Ken enjoyed so many things in his life; from riding his motorcycle, being at the lake, and boating. He loved his children, grandchildren, and especially his animals. He was a wonderful daddy and adored his wife so much.

In addition to his mother, Ken was preceded in death by son, Keith Benford Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Emma Jean Wilson; three children, Dorinda Hemric (Mike), Rhonda Duggins (Gary), and Tim Wilson; six grandchildren, Chris East, Brandon Duggins, Shaylin Wilson, Shannon Bunker, Ayla Wilson, and Cheyanne Wilson; and some great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

There will be no formal services. Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel is assisting the family.
