Mr. Kenneth Franklin Fulk, age 86 of Rural Hall passed away Sunday evening November 1, 2009 at Village Care of King in King. Mr. Fulk was born in Forsyth County March 22, 1923 to the late Russell William and late Bertie Ellen Fulp Fulk. He was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Rural Hall and a veteran having served in the US Army. Mr. Fulk retired from B&G Bakery with 40 plus years of service. He was an avid golfer and worked part-time at Long Creek Golf Club in Winston-Salem. In addition to his parents Mr. Fulk was preceded in death by several sisters and brothers. Surviving is his wife of 67 years Dorothy Tuttle Fulk. Two daughters: Holly Chappell of Walnut-Cove and Kathy (Randy) Myers of King. One son: Larry (Faye) Fulk of Winston-Salem. One grandson: Wade (Stacy) Myers. Two great grandsons: Todd and Brandon Myers. Three Step-grandchildren: Karen Everhart, Dianna Teagarden and Billy G. Hinshaw. Six Step-great grandchildren. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening, November 4, 2009 at Nazareth Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in Rural Hall from 3:00 until 6:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Nazareth Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 519, Rural Hall, NC 27045 Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall is serving the Fulk family.
