Kenneth Hardin Eaton

Mr. Kenneth Hardin Eaton passed away Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born to Barney and Beulah Lakey Eaton on May 17, 1942. As a special needs child, his mother and father devoted their lives to his love and care. For the last three years he lived at Oak Forest Nursing Home. Ken had a very sweet and loving personality. He loved Pepsi and Wake Forest Sports. He was preceded in death by his devoted and loving mother in 2005 and by a very loving Niece, Donna Lynn Eaton in 1994. Surviving are his father of Winston-Salem; a sister, Phyllis Mackie (Roger) of Winston-Salem; a brother, Don (Emily) of Advance; nephews, Mark Eaton (Annette and Alex) of Advance, Eric Eaton (Celeste and Grant) of Columbus, NC. We are so grateful to Pam Noah and the staff for their love and care at Oak Forest Nursing Home. Thank you so much to the staff at the Hospice Home for your compassion and care of Ken. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m.Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Tim Gammons and Vic Pyles officiating. There is no stated visitation.
