Loving husband- sacrificing Daddy- Proud Papaw- a man after God's own heart- this was Kenneth Shoaf Craver Jr. Born on March 16, 1935 to Kenneth and Fallie Craver, Kenneth was a man of many talents. Having served in the U.S. Army from 1958-1960, Kenneth was stationed in Germany where he wholeheartedly defended his country. Upon his return home, Kenneth was a lab technician for R.J. Reynolds, a worker for Ciba-Geigy, the owner of Village Service Station, and the founder of North Davidson Realty where he stood at the helm. Playing golf and coaching Little League sports teams consumed some of Kenneth's sweetest moments. Wherever Kenneth went, he went with heart; whatever Kenneth did, he did with heart. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Shirley Nifong Craver; a son, Kenley Craver; grandsons Jake Wallace and Dalton George of Lexington; a daughter, Sengdeuane Tom, her husband, Ernie, and grandsons Ernest, Nathan, and Josh of California; a brother, James E. Craver and his wife, Sylvia; and a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday at 3:00 PM at Arcadia United Methodist Church with Rev. Darrin Everhart officiating. To UNC's #1 Tar Heel fan, Heaven's blessings now attend you for flights of blue angels have taken you to your rest. We'll meet you in the morning.
