Kenneth Ray Boles

Mr. Kenneth Ray Boles, 71, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born November 4, 1937 in Forsyth County to the late Gabriel and Mildred Motsinger Boles. Mr. Boles was a member of Union Ridge United Methodist Church and retired from R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Co. with 31 years of service. He enjoyed nature, especially searching for arrowheads and other significant artifacts. He loved to watch Duke Basketball, Carolina Panthers, and to research his family history. Preceding him in death were two brothers, Vernon and Roger Boles. Surviving are two daughters, Renea Boles Bledsoe (Bill) and Rebecca Boles; grandson, Will Bledsoe; brother, Larry Boles (Linda); sister, Kathy Slater (Dan); four nephews, Jason and Ryan Kildoo, Stephen Boles and Sam Slater; niece, Mindy Boles and a great niece, Abilena. A memorial service will be held 6:00 PM Sunday February 8, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Rev. Edna Riggs officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
