Kenneth Leroy Baum, III

KERNERSVILLE - Mr. Kenneth Leroy Baum, III, 41, died unexpectedly due to injuries sustained in a car accident Monday, May 6, 2013. Ken was born on September 15, 1971 in Virginia Beach to Kenneth Baum, Jr. and the late Elaine Joan Eisele. He worked with Wilco/Hess Gas Company and was active with the Kernersville Soccer Association where he volunteered as a coach for his sons' soccer teams for ten years. Surviving are his two sons, Jacob and Sam Baum; his father, Ken Baum Jr. and mom, Pam, of Virginia Beach; his fiance', Angie Gibson and her children, Kalen and Nick; one brother, David Baum and wife, Kristin, of Williamsburg; and three nieces, Montana, Rylie and Piper. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at First Christian Church in Kernersville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Education Fund for Jacob and Samuel Baum.
