Mr. Kenneth Herman Barber, 84, passed away peacefully at his home on Feb. 21, 2018. He was born on January 7, 1934 to Annie Mae Allen Barber and Herman Wills Barber in Pinnacle. Kenneth proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He and his wife, Ann owned and operated the Libby Hill Seafood Restaurant on Waughtown St. for 17 years. He was also retired from the U.S. Postal Service where he was employed as a Post Office clerk. He enjoyed gardening and fishing but loved his family above all. Kenneth will be remembered as a caring man with a great sense of humor. Surviving are his loving wife of 63 years, Ann Ernest Barber; children, Lisa Barber Kinney (Russell), Vickie Barber O'Toole (Fred), Kenneth Allen Barber (Bridgette); grandchildren, Rachel Kinney, Cody Kinney (Crystal), Jason O'Toole (Lauren), Eric O'Toole, Nick O'Toole, Kris Barber (Shelby), Matt Barber, and Shane Barber; brothers, Grady Barber (Barbara), and Jack Ernest (Wanda); as well as a great granddaughter, Kennedy Barber; and a large extended family. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crisis Control Ministry and The Salvation Army.
