Kelly Bruce Adams

KERNERSVILLE-Kelly Bruce Adams 75, of Kernersville died April 4, 2009 at his home. Mr. Adams was born in Wilkes County to the late Samuel Levi and Lela Lyon Adams. He was a member of Kernersville Seventh day Adventist Church and was retired from Wachovia Oil. Kelly was a well known Bluegrass musician that played with various local groups. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four sisters and one brother. He is survived by his Wife Ima Martin Adams of the Home; Two Daughters Cindy Blevins and Husband Mitch, Ellen Adams and husband David Pumphrey, all of Greensboro; one sister Bonnie Cheek of Winston-Salem; one grandson, Michael Blevins, of Greensboro. A funeral celebrating his life will be conducted 2:30 PM Tuesday April 7, 2009 at Kernersville Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Don Davis Officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM Tuesday until the time of the service.
