Mr. Keith Charles “KC” Myers, 40, of Winston-Salem, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 1, 2020.  KC was born in Forsyth County on October 13, 1980.  KC graduated from East Forsyth High School in 1999.  Following graduation, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps.  KC worked as a truck driver for Division 5 in Winston-Salem.  KC was a member of Rebel Blood Brotherhood.  He enjoyed anything with a motor and wheels including riding his motorcycle and driving a racecar in the mini stock division at Bowman Gray Stadium.  KC along with his best friend, David Hopkins, ran Swaim’s Garage following his grandfather’s death.  KC was also active in youth sports.  He enjoyed coaching little league and travel baseball.  KC appreciated the opportunity to make a positive impact on the kid’s lives through sports.  KC was preceded in death by his father, Kelvin Augusta Myers and stepfather, Larry Swaim.  He is survived by his wife, April Brooks Myers; children, Skyler Brooks, Hunter Fulk, Kristoffer Brooks, and Haylen Myers; mother, Nellie Wright Swaim; brother, Brandon Swaim (Rebecca); sister, Tonya Mock; nieces and nephews, Ainslee Swaim, Justin Stein, Ashley Stein, Heather Davis.  KC is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Joyce Brooks; sister-in-law, Heather Ellis (Brent); and nieces and nephews, Taylor Nanney, Joseph Nanney, Mason Ellis, and Seth Ellis.  A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with full military honors.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Sunday, November 8, 2020, at American Legion Post 55, 111 Miller St., Winston-Salem, NC 271003.  KC was a loving husband, father, son, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.  Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel is assisting the family of Mr. Myers.
