Kegham "Sam" Ajizian

Kegham Samuel Ajizian (Sam), 80, died peacefully at his home in Winston Salem, NC, Tuesday, September 16, 2014. Born in Damascus, Syria and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, Sam emigrated to the U.S. in 1954, where he met his beloved wife, Rosemary. The two were married in 1961 in Beirut, and returned to the United States soon after to raise a family. Sam was an accomplished pilot, flying for Air Liban before joining Air America in Laos during the Vietnam War. Later, he went into airport administration, running Allied Corporation's operations at McCarran Airport in Las Vegas in the 1980s. Sam was a loving father, husband and grandfather, and is survived lovingly by his wife, Rosemary, sons Samuel, Michael and Ara, and grandchildren Jack, Christopher, Bridget, Brandon, Joshua, Calvin and Oscar.
