Kaylee Erin Smith

Miss Kaylee Erin Smith, age 21,went from the loving arms of her family into the arms of Jesus on November 17, 2015, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roscoe and Jean Smith. She is survived by her parents, Erick and Cindy; sister, Erica (Tyler) Gaulden; nephew, Mason Gaulden; niece, Ella Gaulden; grandparents, Don and Nancy Holland; aunt, Kaye (Jerry) Roberts; cousins, Seth, Noah, and Shelley Roberts. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 21 at 1:30 PM at Freedom Baptist Church in Rural Hall, NC with Pastor Jon White, Rev. Doug Anders, and Pastor Tyler Gaulden officiating. Interment will follow at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown, NC. The family will receive friends at the church prior to the service beginning at 11:00 AM. Kaylee was born on April 26, 1994 in Forsyth County. Kaylee's love for her friends and her contagious laugh were obvious to everyone she met. She was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. She had a tremendous love for animals and a special gift in working with them and was known as ""The Dog Whisperer."" She worked at Carolina Air Canine in training service dogs for veterans. She had three dogs that she loved dearly Duke, Journey, and Quest.
