Kaye Cha Petransky Bastian

Mrs. Kaye ""Cha"" Bastian, age 50 of Germanton passed away Friday, February 4, 2011at her home. Kaye was born August 14, 1960 in Jamestown, NY to the late John S. and the late Shirley Marie Johnson Petransky. She was a certified Dental assistant for 20 years. She went to college at Guilford Tech Dental Assistant Program. Kaye worked in Kernersville and later in Mooresville. She was a very caring mother and loving wife. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. Surviving is her husband of 23 years of marriage, Robert Bastian of the home. One daughter, Angela (Robert) Fishel of Walkertown. One sister, Kris (Mike) Stovall of Lyons, GA and one brother, Kenneth Petransky of Frewsburg, NY. One niece, Jessica Blake and two nephews; John VanArsdale and Matthew Blake. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday evening, February 16, 2011 at 7:00 P.M. at Community Fellowship Moravian Church in Welcome by Pastor Jack Nance. The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Community Fellowship Moravian Church, P.O. Box 397, Welcome, NC 27374.
