Kay Flinchum Coleman

Ms. Kay Flinchum Coleman, 67, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born February 17, 1941 in Surry County to Robert A. and Winnie Bell Simmons Flinchum. Ms. Coleman married Roger Inman and later married Earl Coleman. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and Brimms Grove Baptist Church in Pilot Mtn. Ms. Coleman was retired from the North Carolina Department of Transportation Right of Way after 30 plus years of service. She was employed part-time with Forsyth Country Club and was a professional calligrapher and a talented artist for charity organizations. She graduated and served on the Board at Girls State of North Carolina. Ms. Coleman was a sweet and loving mother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed. Surviving are two daughters, Dana Inman Watson (husband Michael) and Kimberly Inman Romero both of Winston-Salem; two granddaughters, Brianna Nicole Romero and Demi Leigh Moore and two sisters, Joyce Frye of Pilot Mtn. and June Miller of Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Forsyth Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
