Katie Jester Collins

COLLINS - Tobaccoville Mrs. Katie Jester Collins, 66, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2009 at her home. She was born May 14, 1943 in Forsyth County to the late Harvey Winston Jester and Mary Logan Jester. Mrs. Collins enjoyed attending Christ Temple when health permitted. Mrs. Collins leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Olcie Collins Jr.; two sons, Timothy Wayne Collins and Tony Ray Williams; one daughter, Donna Christine Collins; one grandson, Tyler Keith Walk; one brother, Harvey Ray Jester; and four sisters, Peggy Prevette, Clara Marie Violette, Martha Elizabeth Jester and Mary Gail Jester. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 11 at Christ Temple with Brother Leroy Kelly officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make memorials to the Forsyth County Humane Society at 61 Miller Street, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
