Kathy Wall Vaughn

Mrs. Kathy Wall Vaughn, 70, passed away Friday, October 11, 2024, at her home. She was born in Surry County on November 8, 1953, to the late James Washington and Lucille Billings Wall. Kathy retired from Food Lion with 20 years of service and was a member of West Bend Baptist Church. She loved hummingbirds and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Preceding her in death was her brother, Tommy Wall and two sisters, Joyce Smith and Patricia Utt. Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Mike Vaughn; son, John Thomas (Tina); grandson, Christopher Thomas and his family; also surviving is a brother, Johnny Wall and a sister, Judy Goins (Cecil). A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, October 14, 2024, at Westlawn Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Amedisys Hospice, 2975 Crouse Lane Burlington, NC 27215.
