Kathy Freeman

Mrs. Kathy Elaine Doby Freeman, 67, of Mocksville passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Forsyth Medical Center. Kathy was born in Forsyth County to the late Charles Edward Doby and Hazel White Doby on July 25, 1953. She enjoyed traveling to the mountains and being with her family. Kathy loved her husband and her grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and was an Angel on Earth! Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Doby. Kathy is survived by her  husband, Larry “Michael” Freeman; Children, Johnny Long (Tabitha); Kenneth Long (Jami); Michelle Freeman and Michael Freeman; sisters, Betty Myers (Glenn) and Joan Pope (Billy); brothers, Charles Doby Jr. (Gwyn) and Kenny Doby (Misty); numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
