PfafftownKathy Saylor Arrington, 54, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was born January 4, 1960 in Forsyth County to the late Bruce Lollar and Frances Webster Saylor. Kathy attended Rural Hall Church of Christ. She was a caring person, always helping and putting others first. She was a very loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Kathy loved going to the beach, riding horses, gardening with her flowers, listening to music, and especially spending time with her family. Preceding her in death was a brother, Keith Saylor and two sisters, Carolyn Stewart and Marthann Harrell. Surviving is her husband of 34 years, Wes Arrington, Jr.; son, Justin Arrington and wife Jennifer; daughter, Krista Bowen and husband, Chris; granddaughter, Saylor Bowen; a grandson (due in February), Sawyer Arrington; brother, Don Saylor and wife Peggy; several nieces and nephews; also surviving are her best friends, Maryann Coffey, Debbie Senter, Juli Cservenko, and Jennifer Pendergrass and many other friends and family. A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, January 17, 2014 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons with Minister Peter Cain officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kathy Arrington Fund C/O BB&T Bank 2080 Village Link Dr. Winston-Salem, NC 27106.
