Kathryn Victoria Vogler Phillips, 86, passed into the arms of Jesus Tuesday morning, December 7, 2010 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born November 12, 1924 in Forsyth County to Ralph H. and Cassie Myers Vogler. A homemaker most of her life, she was a woman of great faith who loved to sing and loved her family and church. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Hugh; a daughter, Vicki and husband Frank Lynch; a granddaughter, Erin and husband Chris McGinn; two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Glenn; a brother, Richard D. Vogler and wife Mary Jo, along with Many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, December 10, 2010 at Hayworth-Miller. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation and thanks to the entire staff at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the exceptional loving and compassionate care that they gave to Kathryn. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to the Kate B.
