Kathryn Capps Boyd

Mrs. Kathryn Capps Boyd, 56, of Winston-Salem passed away Sunday, December 04, 2011 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Boyd was born in Sanford, NC on October 15, 1955 to Leslie Owen and Ruth Reynolds Capps. She loved to draw and was a true artist. Mrs. Boyd was active throughout her life, playing softball, fishing, and traveling to the beach. She loved the ocean and her time at the beach. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Harley Boyd of Winston-Salem; two sons, Benjamin Norris and wife Misti of Midway, and Casey Norris of Winston-Salem; her mother; her stepmother, Anette Capps; three grandchildren, Kyra, Cecily, and Eden; and four brothers, Buddy and Alan Capps, and Ron and Charles Brown. A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at Lee's Chapel Christian Church with the Pastor James Bowden officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
