Mrs. Kathleen Bobbitt Sauve', 85, of Winston-Salem passed away Saturday, November 27, at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was born April 25, 1925 in Winston-Salem to Herman and Beulah Blevins Bobbitt. Mrs. Sauve was a graduate of Gray High School and retired in 1985 as Home Protection Supervisor at Integon after 43 years of service. After retirement she enjoyed 20 years of volunteer work at Forsyth Memorial Hospital. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. Mrs. Sauve was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph G. Sauve; a sister, Dorothy L. Bobbitt; and her stepmother, Glennie McClain Bobbitt. Surviving are two sisters, Vermell B. Ingle (husband Ernest) of Lexington; and Jo-Ann B. Turner (husband Wilbur) of Merritt Island, FL; and four nieces and three nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 2, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel with Dr. David Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Winston-Salem, NC 27101.
