Kathleen Butner Meadows

Mrs. Kathleen Butner Meadows, 87, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born in Forsyth Co. on August 14, 1927 to the late David Sidney Butner and Mamie Reed Butner. Mrs. Meadows was a member of Gospel Baptist Church in Pinnacle. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Meadows is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harvey Gray Meadows of the home, a daughter; Sharon Meadows of Tobaccoville, a grandson; Michael Marsh (Renee Shrewsbury) of Beckly, WVA and a great- granddaughter; Cheyenne Nicole Marsh. She is also survived by her special little dog, Sophia. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at Gospel Baptist Church in Pinnacle with Rev. John Hylton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00-12:30 prior to the service at the church.
