Kathleen Mansell

Ms. Kathleen Priest Mansell, 86, of Clemmons, NC, passed away peacefully in her home Thursday, May 5, 2022. She was born to the late Henry James Priest and Kathrine Kane Priest on July 13, 1935, in Edinburgh, Scotland.

Kathleen was an avid tennis player and actress in Montreal before coming to the US with her children. She instilled the appreciation for a hot cup of tea, a beautifully grown rose and a great conversation in all who knew her. Her fondest memories were typically made around the dinner table with loved ones – especially at Christmas. Most importantly? She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Kathrine Kane Priest, and her husband, John Dennis Mansell.

Kathleen’s surviving family members include her eldest son, Stephen Stuart Ross Mansell; daughters, Jennifer Leigh Thomas and Kerri Jane Kleean; youngest son, Iain Reid Mansell; granddaughters, Allison Mansell, Jessica Kleean and Rachel Kleean; great-grandson, Callahan Reid; and brother; James Douglas Priest.

There will be no formal services held for Kathleen at this time.
