Katherine Mae Weiss Shelton

Ms. Katherine Mae Weiss Shelton passed away Sunday, May 18 at Winston-Salem Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was born in Guilford County on July 13, 1943 to the late George & Flossie Weiss. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Shelton was preceded in death by six siblings: George Jr., Richard, Charles, Jimmy, Thelma, and Nairani. She is survived by her daughter, Jewel Rominger; three grandsons: Thomas, Zachary, and Axel; and one brother, John H. Weiss.

A memorial service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 23 at Rural Hall Church of God with Pastor Rick Hudson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to assist with the funeral expenses.
