Katherine Elizabeth Clodfelter Crews passed away on June 10, 2012 at Priddy Manor Assisted Living in King, NC. Mrs. Crews was born February 24, 1919 in Forsyth County to Carl B. and Jessie Moore Clodfelter. She was a graduate of Mineral Springs High School and was an Avon Representative for more than 25 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, J. Leon Clodfelter, Harry Lee Clodfelter and Paul E. Clodfelter. Also preceding her was a granddaughter, Ronda Mechelle Blaylock, and son-in-law, Charles F. Blaylock. She is survived by her loving husband of 74 years, Ralph Hiatt Crews of Winston-Salem; daughters, Lynne Blaylock of Rural Hall, Sandra K. Camp of Bessemer Alabama, and Vicky (Mark) Thomas of Winston-Salem. Also surviving her are grandchildren, Mark Lee Thomas, Robert Thomas, Kevin Thomas and Sherry (Tobin) Leonard; three great-grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, and Kylie; and a sister, Louise (Paul) Tucker of Lexington, NC. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Crestview Memorial Park in Rural Hall with Pastor Herb Mabe of Union Tabernacle officiating. The family will receive friends at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home in Rural Hall Wednesday, June 13th, from 12:30 until 1:30 P.M.
