Kernersville - Katherine Rule Bryant, 72, died Monday, July 18, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. Katherine was born on December 1, 1943 in Chattanooga, TN. She was of the Methodist faith and was the co-owner/founder of KayBe Products, Inc. in Kernersville from 1985 to 2000. Katherine would say that her greatest accomplishments in life are her 54-1/2 year marriage and her loving family.
Katherine was preceded in death by her mother, Emma Lois Rule, who was a lifelong resident of Clifton Forge, VA. Katherine loved the mountains of Virginia where she was raised.
Surviving are her husband of over 54-1/2 years, Olen W. ""Tim"" Bryant, Jr.; one son, Todd W. Bryant (Cathy) of Colfax, two daughters, Kimberly Fischvogt (Steve), and Kathy Bryant, both of Kernersville; three grandchildren, Bryant Harrison, Timmy Fischvogt, and Emma Katherine Harrison; and one brother, Bill Rule of Staunton, VA.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Fountain of Life Lutheran Church in Kernersville with Dr. Rick Meyer officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the Church Fellowship Hall.
