Belews Creek- Mrs. Kate Landreth Spillman, 84, passed away, Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was born July 24, 1926 in Forsyth County to the late Amos P. and Hattie S. Landreth. Mrs. Spillman was a member of Walkertown First Baptist Church. She retired from Adams-Millis, Inc. after many years of service. She is survived by many nephews and nieces, and her son, Dr. Robert D. (Danny) Spillman of Blacksburg, VA. She enjoyed the companionship of her friends, neighbors, and the love shown to her by the many neighborhood children. Today, she resides within the compassion of Christ with her late husband, Robert M. Spillman, her brothers and sisters; the late George, Thelma, Margaret, Smith, John, Carson, Hazel, and Ann through God's grace. A brief visitation will be held from 12:00 to 1:00pm, Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel followed by a graveside service at 2:00pm in the Gardens of Memory, Walkertown by Rev. Beverly Isley-Landreth.
