Kasey Casto

KERNERSVILLE – Kasey Casto, age 50, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Kernersville Medical Center. He was born on July 8, 1971 in Kanawha County, WV. Kasey was loveable, stealing the hearts of all who met him. He had a great admiration of nature, spending every moment he could looking out his window watching birds, butterflies, storms and especially loved to see the leaves blow. One could easily make him grin by tickling him and covering him in kisses.

Kasey was preceded in death by his “MawMaw”, Rachel Gantt; and his “PawPaw”, Joe Wright.

Surviving are his mother, Cathy Marion (Mike); two uncles, Joe Gantt, and Jodi Wright; many cousins; special family friends, Kayla Manring, Tracy Johnson, Katherine and Rick Shapiro; and many others.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Pastor Charles Kahn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Gur Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
