Karyn Eve Dorsett

Miss. Karyn Eve Dorsett, 56 of Winston-Salem died Thursday, May 28, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Miss. Dorsett was born August 10, 1952 in Forsyth County, a daughter of Melba Poole Dorsett of Winston-Salem and the late Harrison Lindsay Dorsett, Sr. She graduated from UNC Chapel Hill and was employed with Wachovia Bank and Trust until her retirement due to health reasons. Karyn loved going to the beach, her animals and sports of all kinds especially her beloved Tar Heels. She was a loving daughter, sister and auntie. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her sister, Lynne Dorsett Koontz, brother, Harrison Lindsay Dorsett, Jr., niece, Jennifer Berg, nephew, Jeffery Koontz and special friend, Randy Craver. A private graveside will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethany United Church of Christ 1066 Bethany Church Rd. Winston-Salem, NC 27107 or to the charity of your choice. We will forever remember her wit, her infectious laugh, her love of friends and devotion to family.
