Karen DeEtte Trent Motsinger

Mrs. Karen DeEtte Trent Motsinger, 68, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. She was born September 5, 1954, in Forsyth County to the late Harold Rodger Trent and JoAnn Parker Trent. Karen was a loving wife. She loved animals and baking pound cakes. Karen was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Keith Motsinger; sister Nancy Carswell (Wayne); two aunts, Doris Boyles and Peggy Parker; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Crestview Memorial Park with Pastor David Harmon officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Rural Hall Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Forsyth Humane Society.
