Karen Leigh Harper

Winston-SalemOn bended knees, Karen Leigh Harper, 50, has left this world behind. Karen is the daughter of Betty D. Pennington and Samuel L. Harper. Karen leaves behind her father and step-mother, Sam and Tannie; step-father, Bill; sisters, Lynda and Lori; brother-in-law, Darren; niece, Brittany; nephew, Austin; three step-sisters and their families, Debbie, Cathy, and Lisa; also surviving are several special aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends. Karen will be truly missed, but she is finally at peace. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2013 at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel with Pastor Danny Poindexter officiating. Burial will follow at Boyer's Chapel Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home.
