Mrs. Junko Imaizumi Schlotfeldt, 77, of Winston-Salem passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. She was born December 10, 1932 in Fukuoka, Japan to Minejiro and Kiyo Imaizumi. Mrs. Schlotfeldt was preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, Virgil Glenn Schlotfeldt. Surviving are three loving daughters, Lana Schlotfeldt and husband Richmond Lyons of Winston-Salem, Sharon Frederick and husband Jeff of Charlotte, and Diane Weyant and husband Kenny of Clemmons; six loving grandchildren, Luke Frederick, Brenna Weyant, Jace Weyant, Austin Clayton, Angie Hester and Cindy Dodson. A private graveside service was held Friday, February 12 at Westlawn Gardens of Memory with Dr. Jerry Gibbons officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Liver Foundation, 75 Maiden Lane, Suite 603, New York, NY 10038-4810.
