June Marie Ownby Edwards

Ms. June Marie Ownby Edwards, 74 of Winston-Salem, died Wednesday, July 29, 2009 at Forsyth Medical Center. Ms. Edwards was born June 4, 1935 in Forsyth County, the only child of the late Grady Ownby and the late Joan Brookbank King. She was a retired computer systems analyst with Sarah Lee for over 30 years. She was a loving caring mother and grandmother who always put others before herself. She is survived by her children, Paul Wilson and wife Barbara, Robin Hames and husband Rick, Zane Edwards and wife Tracy, and Amanda Edwards, grandchildren, Josh, Olivia, and Katie, and her beloved dog, Charlie. A memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.
