Julia Mary Shelton Weatherman

Mrs. Julia Mary Shelton Weatherman, 94, of Pfafftown, NC passed away Saturday, June 29, 2013, at Rose Tara Plantation in King. She was born November 29, 1918 to Samuel and Emma Bowyer Shelton. Mrs. Weatherman was of Baptist faith. She loved to sew and she loved her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond Weatherman; two sisters, Dora Teague and Sara Reynolds; and one brother, Clifton Shelton. Surviving are her son, J.C. Shelton (Magalene); one sister, Annie Rooker; one brother, Henry Shelton; one grandson, Tim Shelton (Barbara); and two great-granddaughters, Holly Nelson and Hailey Shelton. A Graveside Service will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at Brookstown United Methodist Church with Chaplain Rickey Spencer and Rev. James T. ""Chip"" Webb officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8PM Monday at Hayworth-Miller Lewisville Chapel.
