Julia Richardson

Mrs. Julia A. Richardson, 87, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021, at her home in Clemmons, NC.  She was the daughter of Steve and Julia Fekete of Crab Orchard WV, and wife of the late James H. Richardson.

She was a native of Crab Orchard, WV, a 1951 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School, and retired in 1996.  She was strong willed and lived life on her own terms.  In her waning years, her favorite things were working in her yard and visits with friends and family.

Julia is survived by 4 children: Diana Redmond of Clemmons, Michael Richardson of Winston-Salem, Mark Richardson of Reedy Creek, and Pam Edmonds of Lexington; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.  She will always be remembered for the love and support she provided, and at times for her stubbornness.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021, at Parklawn Memorial Park, officiated by Rev. Francis Smith. Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
