Julia Ann Everhart Ludwick

Mrs. Julia Ann Everhart Ludwick, 74, of Clemmons, NC, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Ludwick was born on September 27, 1940, in Forsyth County, NC to the late Paul William Everhart and Kathleen Hine Everhart. Julia was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem and a member of the Saunders Bible Fellowship Class. She retired from AT&T with 25 years of service. Julia loved spending time at Lake Norman and working in her flower garden. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. During her illness, Julia was more concerned about others than herself. She was always there to help others in a time of need and instilled the values of being independent and strong in her daughters. In addition to her parents, Julia was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Cecil Ludwick. Mrs. Ludwick is survived by three daughters, Teresa Neal (Ron), Sharon Sink (Richard) and Beverly Ludwick; four grandchildren, Darrell Boles (Rene), Laura Boyd (Brad), Emily Willis (Zach), and Anna Sink; two great-grandchildren, Kendall Boles and Alexis Boyd; one great-grandson on the way, Michael Willis; and a brother, Winfred Everhart (Brenda). Funeral services for Mrs. Ludwick will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, September 16, 2015, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Byrum officiating. Interment will follow the service at Westlawn Gardens of Memory in Clemmons. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Julia's caregivers, Vicki Lee, Tina Hill, Debbie Bosley, and Regina Anthony for the exceptional care they provided to her. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Forsyth County, 101 Hospice Ln., Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
