Julia ' Jan' Hepler Lowe

LOWE Ms. Julia ""Jan"" Hepler Lowe, 74, of Winston-Salem passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011. She was born February 27, 1937 to Clarence Preston and Ava Aileen Williams Hepler. Jan's passion in life was traveling and visited many exciting destinations. She traveled sometimes with friends, family or often was off on her own adventures. She worked many years as a travel agent helping others plan their adventures, before retiring. She enjoyed her family, her many friends, and her family at the 24/7 gym. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Hepler. Ms. Lowe's survivors include her three children: Robyn Fendig of St. Simon's Island, GA; John McDowell of Columbus, GA; and Melani Pipkin of Brunswick, GA. Ms. Lowe is also survived by five grandchildren: Mary Ellyse Fendig, David Fendig, Jon McDowell, Sasha McDowell and Grady Lamar Williams, Jr.; two brothers: Pete Hepler and Ked Hepler; a sister: Elda Deal and three great grandchildren: Dylon, Jordan, and Brianna.
