Mrs. Julia Byers Jackson, 83 of Winston-Salem, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 5, 2021 at her home. She was born May 10, 1938 in Forsyth County to Eugene and Bettie Mae Byers.

Mrs. Jackson was a graduate of Carver High School.  She loves country music, cross word puzzle, word search and playing cards.

Mrs. Jackson was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother & great-grandmother and sister.  She loves her family and taking care of her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Georgia J. Byrd.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years Richard A. Jackson two sons Milton W. Jackson (Victoria) Florence, Arizona; Anthony T. Jackson  (Valarie) Clemmons, NC; and one daughter Lisa Ann Jackson Winston-Salem, NC.  Four grandchildren Milton, Jr., Brandon, Alex and Avery.  One Great-Grandson Elijah.

Six sisters  Evangelist Cynthia Hill, Thelma Lowery, Mary Christine Ramey, Eunice Bosta, Betty ( Kitty) Hall, Patricia Byers and one brother Eugene ( Bud) Byers. Along with host of Nieces, Nephew, great-nieces and great nephews.

The funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 2:00pm.  The family will receive friends at 1:00pm-1:50 pm at the funeral home Hayworth-Miller 3315 Silas Creek Pkwy Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

The Family asks all attendees to wear masks and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

The Family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude to all that care for Julia at Trellis Support Care (located at 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC  27103).
