Mrs. Julia Elisabeth Molivas Farrington, 82, of Winston-Salem, died May 19, 2010 at the Hospice Home in High Point. She was born January 31, 1928 to the late Trifon and Ellen Harper Molivas. Julia was co-founder of N. S. Farrington and Company where she served as secretary/treasurer for many years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem since 1950. She will be forever remembered by those who knew her as a sweet, loving and caring person who measured success in how much she could give to others as opposed to how much she could accumulate for herself. She was married to the late Norman S. Farrington. She is survived by one daughter, Linda Farrington Moore and husband Dwayne, two sons, Kenneth T. Farrington and wife Sue, and David N. Farrington and wife Donna, seven grandchildren, Drew, Anne, Jay, Heather, Joshua, Ashley, and Amy, and twelve great - grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Hayworth- Miller Silas Creek Chapel in Winston-Salem. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5000 Country Club Road, Winston-Salem, conducted by Pastor Steve Hardy of Calvary Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Forsyth Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, N.C. 27262.
