Judy Carol Nixon Medeiros

Mrs. Judy Nixon Medeiros, 72, passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023.  She was born July 11, 1951, in Forsyth County to the late Thomas Elsworth Nixon and Claudine Gentry Nixon.  Judy was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Clemmons who loved the Lord.  She also enjoyed watching movies, cooking and most of all spending time with her grandchildren.   

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Marvin Medeiros.  She is survived by three children, Mike Medeiros (Christy), Leilani Bailey (Doug Brown), and Thomas Medeiros; two grandchildren, Ethan and Gavin Medeiros; sister, Karen Billings (Tony); and numerous nieces and nephews.   

A graveside service will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, August 26th, 2023, at Poplar Springs Baptist Church in State Road, NC, with Pastor Paul Stewart officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 24th, 2023, at Hayworth-Miller Silas Creek Chapel.  Online condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com.
