Judy Sparks Holleman

KERNERSVILLE - Judy Sparks Holleman, 75, passed away after a difficult illness on Thursday, May 7, 2015. Judy was born December 16, 1939 in Forsyth County to Thomas Daniel and Kathleen Blevins Sparks. She was a longtime resident of Sedge Garden, graduating from Glenn High School. Judy was sweet, fun-loving and never met a stranger. She devoted her life to her girls and was a true gift from God to her family and friends. Judy had a love for dancing that she shared with a special partner. She also enjoyed going on cruises, gardening, bird-watching, playing games and working out (socializing) at the YMCA.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her former husband, Bob Holleman.

Surviving are two daughters, Wendy Holleman and Misty Beil (Jerry); a step-daughter, Judy Bovender (Lonnie); four grandchildren, Josh and Kate Beil, Nikki Jacobs and Cori Covey; seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Tommy Sparks (Jenny) and Bill Sparks (Jennifer); one niece and two nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be held at 12:00 noon Saturday, May 9, 2015 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Rev. Joe McWethy officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, May 8, at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. Condolences may be made at www.hayworth-miller.com
