Judith Ball

Mrs. Judith Eileen Gladue McCann Ball of Advance, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, March 4, 2018. She was born Judith Eileen Gladue on September 24, 1953 in Altona, Manitoba, Canada, the daughter of the late Kenneth N. Gladue and the late Helen Hintz Gladue. Judith grew up in Neche, North Dakota and graduated from the Neche Public High School. Following high school, she attended the North Dakota State College of Science. Judith married Jackson "Jack" Herbert McCann on November 18, 1978; they made their home in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Jack wanted to return to his home state of North Carolina; they moved to Winston-Salem in November of 1984. Jack went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2002. After being a widow for six years, Judith married Larry Edmond Ball on February 9, 2008 in Clemmons, NC. They have made their home in Advance, NC. Judith was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Denise Gladue Seith, and her first husband, Jackson H. McCann. Surviving are her husband, Larry E. Ball; brother, Daryl Gladue (Lorri) of Glasston, ND; one sister, Aurelia Bjornstad of Neche, ND; two nephews, Aron Bjornstad and Brandon Bjornstad both of Neche, ND; one niece, Abby Bjornstad and fiance' Chris Evenson of Oakwood, ND; two great nephews and three great nieces, sister-in-law, June Flynn, brother-in-law, Ken Byerly and a special friend Cathy Blackmon. A funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church by Pastor Ronnie Craddock. The family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 PM prior to the service at the Church. Burial will be 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at Cherry Lane Cemetery in Glade Valley, NC where Judith will be laid to rest beside her first husband, Jack.
