Juanita Gantt Thompson

Kernersville - Mrs. Juanita Ann Gantt Thompson, 77, died Friday, May 20, 2016 at Oak Forest Nursing and Rehab. Juanita was born December 4, 1939 in Forsyth County to Kyle Lee Gantt, Sr. and Daisy Hooker Gantt.
In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Lee Thompson.
Surviving are her son, Randy Thompson (wife, Lisa) of Walnut Cove; her daughter, LeAnn McCormick of Walkertown; four grandchildren, Grace Thompson, Paige Bowers (husband, Cory) of Walkertown, Travis and Emily McCormick both of Walkertown; three step-grandchildren, Leslee Burroughs (husband, Sammy), Kellee and Emilee Harney ; two great grandchildren, Ashlynn and Matthew; three step great-grandchildren, Sophie, Levi, and Ava; and one sister, Evelyn Shreve (husband, Bill) of Kernersville.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 23, 2016 at Hayworth Miller Kernersville Chapel with Dr. Rob Decker officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery in Winston-Salem.
