Juanita Bailey Taylor

WINSTON SALEM - Mrs. Juanita Bailey Taylor, 85, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at Walnut Ridge Assisted Living. She was born November 11, 1929 in Grayson County, VA to Beachum Truly and Della Mae LaRue Bailey. Juanita was a strong woman with a fun-loving character. She was a very talented seamstress and loved crafts, gardening and traveling. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Taylor. Surviving are one daughter, Carole Hastings (husband, Dickie); one son, Michael J. Taylor; five grandsons, Jeffrey Hastings (Tricia), Jason Taylor (Maria), Jonathan Taylor, Jeremy Taylor (Sarah) and Jesse Taylor; and two great grandchildren, Jason Taylor, Jr. and Grace Taylor. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel with Rev. Dave Cash and Rev. Ellis Rouse officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
